Shellac is a hybrid of gel polish and traditional polish, offering a longer-lasting, chip-resistant finish that can last up to two weeks. It requires curing under a UV or LED light, while regular nail polish air dries and typically lasts a few days.
Shellac also tends to be more flexible and less prone to smudging compared to regular polish.
It's important to get your Shellac removed to avoid damage to your natural nails. If left on too long, Shellac can cause your nails to weaken, peel, or become brittle. Professional removal ensures that the process is done safely without damaging your nails, helping them stay healthy and strong.
