The most appropriate treatment for you will depend on your specific skin concerns, condition, and type. To ensure optimal results and minimise the risk of any adverse effects, we strongly recommend a Visia Skin Consultation prior to undergoing any laser treatments. This consultation allows us to tailor the treatment to your unique needs and ensure your safety.
The number of sessions required varies depending on the type of laser treatment and your individual needs.
For skin treatments, the number of sessions is personalised based on the severity of your specific skin concerns and desired results.
For hair removal, we typically recommend a course of 6-8 sessions to achieve optimal hair reduction, after which you will transition into a maintenance phase.
Tattoo removal sessions are heavily influenced by factors such as the size, color, density, and location of the tattoo. Generally, 8-12 sessions are required for optimal clearance; however, a more accurate estimate can be provided during your consultation.
At Vitality Laser and Skin we utilise a medical grade laser hair removal device that has a sapphire cooling tip which provides a contact cooling mechanism to the skin. You may feel a warm flick sensation during the treatment, however is tolerable.
Downtime can vary from client to client depending on the treatment area and the skin condition being treated.
When treated vascular conditions, redness and swelling can be expected following treatment and typically resolves within a few days. You can apply mineral makeup and return to normal activities immediately.
Your Dermal Clinician will advise any post-treatment requirements and aftercare recommendations with you prior to commencing your laser sessions.
