How Does Laser Genesis Work?
Cutera’s patented Laser Genesis utilises a 1064 nm Nd:YAG wavelength to bulk heat the upper dermis of the skin to stimulate collagen production in order to combat signs of ageing.
Laser Genesis is also known to improve skin redness as the skin reaches the desired temperature in order to coagulate the microvasculature network in the dermis. This decreases redness, dilated capillaries and inflammation.

Areas and Number of Treatments Required
Laser Genesis can be used to treat redness and rejuvenate your facial skin, neck, décolletage and other areas of the body.
To improve specific concerns, we recommend a course of three to six appointments, spaced two to four weeks apart.

Which Laser Genesis Treatment Best Suits Me?
Laser Genesis is best suited for skin rejuvenation targeting fine lines, wrinkles and diffused redness.
Green Genesis is best suited for diffused redness, superficial fine blood vessels and superficial hyperpigmentation.
However, it is important to note Green Genesis is suitable only for skin fitzpatricks I-IV, whereas Laser Genesis is suitable for all skin types.
