How Cryopen Works
CryoPen uses high-pressure nitrous oxide to apply extreme cold to the targeted skin lesion. The cold freezes the cells, causing the unwanted lesion to break down and naturally fall off. The procedure is quick, typically taking just a few seconds per lesion. During treatment, you may see a white frost on the area, indicating the freezing process is working. The process is highly accurate, with minimal risk of damage to surrounding skin.

How to Prepare for Cryopen
No special preparation is needed for CryoPen treatment, but it is recommended to avoid applying makeup or lotions to the area being treated. Arrive at your appointment with clean skin to ensure the treatment is as effective as possible.

What to do after a Cryopen Treatment
After CryoPen treatment, a small blister may form over the treated area, which is normal and part of the healing process. It is important to leave the area uncovered to aid healing, although a bandage may be used for protection if necessary. The treated area may scab over in the following days, and it’s essential not to pick at the scab to avoid scarring. Most lesions heal within 1-3 weeks, with minimal scarring or pigmentation changes.
What our Clients are Saying
CryoPen treatment is minimally uncomfortable. Most patients experience a brief stinging or cold sensation during the procedure, but this typically lasts only a few seconds. After the treatment, you may feel some tenderness, but this usually subsides quickly.
CryoPen can treat isolated benign pigmented lesions, skin tags, cherry angiomas, fibrous papules of the face, skin warts and sebaceous hyperplasia.
You may start to see visible results within a few days after treatment. The frozen lesions will gradually darken and fall off within 1-3 weeks. Full results are typically visible within a month.
Most lesions require just one treatment session to achieve optimal results. However, larger or multiple lesions may require additional sessions. Your practitioner will assess your specific needs and advise on the best treatment plan.
Side effects are rare but can include temporary redness, swelling, or a small blister at the treatment site. These effects are generally short-lived and should resolve on their own without further intervention.
Cryopen is $130 per session with the ability to treat up to 10-15 lesions at a time depending on the size of the lesion.
