How Does Excel V+ Work?
Cutera Excel V+ treats skin conditions with two wavelengths.
The 532 nm wavelength is highly absorbed by melanin and oxyhemoglobin, allowing for the treatment of brown dyschromia and red vascularity.
The 1064 nm ND:YAG wavelength is highly absorbed by deoxyhaemoglobin, suitable for treating larger and deeper vessels, including leg and periocular veins and venous lakes.

What to Expect During my Appointment
Upon arrival you will be asked to fill out a consultation form which will include questions about your skin type, medical conditions, previous treatments etc.
One of our Dermal Clinicians will then have a private discussion with you to determine your main skin concerns and desired treatment outcomes. They will suggest a tailored plan and discuss the details of the treatment including pre- and post-care.
This will give you the opportunity to have any questions regarding your treatment answered.

How Many Treatments are Required?
Most treatments only require one to three sessions, however the number of treatments will vary depending on your skin concern and ideal outcome.

Downtime can vary from client to client depending on the treatment area and the skin condition being treated.
When treated vascular conditions, redness and swelling can be expected following treatment and typically resolves within a few days. You can apply mineral makeup and return to normal activities immediately.
Your Dermal Clinician will advise any post-treatment requirements and aftercare recommendations with you prior to commencing your laser sessions.
